Chicago Wilderness Alliance

Covenant Nursery School is partnering with other organizations to encourage children and families to spend time outside. Under the umbrella organization Chicago Wilderness, Covenant staff attend conferences and workshops to learn new activities to engage children in nature and to learn more about the natural world to share with the families we serve. Our staff is able to implement these ideas on our Turtle Playscape and in the classrooms.

Chicago Wilderness Alliance Chicago is a regional alliance that connects people and nature. We are more than 300 organizations working together to restore local nature and improve the quality of life for all who live here, by protecting the lands and waters on which we all depend.
