Our Multi-Age classes are for 3-, 4-, and 5-year-olds. Children must be three by September 1st of the enrolled school year. Families can choose a 3-, 4-, or 5-day schedule, with classes meeting from 9:15–11:45 AM.

In Multi-Age, children begin their day outdoors whenever possible. Starting the morning outside helps children settle into their bodies, connect with friends, and explore the world around them in a calm, grounded way. After outdoor time, children come inside for a rich choice time in our learning centers, including dress-up, kitchen, blocks, art, science, books, trains, writing, puzzles, and teacher-led projects.

Circle time includes songs, stories, weekly themes, and movement, along with classroom jobs such as weather helper, line leader, table setter, door closer, and room monitor. These responsibilities help children feel capable and connected, while early literacy and early math skills are woven naturally into classroom routines and play.

Children enjoy additional large-motor play on the Playscape, on the blacktop, or in our large indoor playroom, and they share a community snack. Each class has two lead teachers, with an assistant teacher added as needed based on enrollment and the needs of the group.
